Opening January 19th, GFA is pleased to present internationally acclaimed West Coast artist, Brent Lynch. Lynch's work investigates the world through the language of light, colour and movement - he is a storyteller and his paintings are filled with iconic symbolism, metaphor and narrative.
From the beginning Brent has been passionate about the direct observation of his subject; this has become a life long pursuit infused into both his life drawing and his work en plein air. His studio paintings capture the raw energy characteristic of a strong drawing background and technical skills. His work is found in galleries in Canada, the US, Mexico and private collections world-wide.
