Gibson Fine Art has been part of Calgary's art community for over 45 years. We work with leading Canadian artists across a wide range of media, with more than half of our collection coming from Alberta. We are proud to connect the right artwork with the people, homes, and spaces where it belongs.

We regularly collaborate with corporate clients, architects, and interior designers, helping source art for everything from a single room to a full building project. From recommendations and commissions to shipping and installation, we handle it all.

Meet the Owner
Patti Dibski

Patti Dibski has loved art her whole life, so when the opportunity came to own a gallery in 2004, the decision felt like a natural one. What she did not expect was how deeply she would come to love the business of art — the artists, the collectors, and the moment someone walks into the gallery and finds a piece they cannot stop thinking about.

With an MBA and a background in business, Patti brings a rare combination of commercial insight and genuine passion to everything she does. She is also a partner at Interior Living Studio, a furniture and interior design studio located right next door — a natural extension of her belief that great art and great design belong together. Recognized as one of Avenue magazine’s Top 40 Under 40, Patti has built her career around connecting people with art in a way that feels personal and approachable.

Her commitment to Calgary’s creative community runs deep. She has served on the Board of Governors of the Alberta University of the Arts, sits on the Management Advisory Committee at the Haskayne School of Business, and is a Senator at the University of Calgary.

On any given day at Gibson Fine Art, you are just as likely to find her chatting with a first-time buyer as you are to see her working with a longtime collector — exactly how she likes it.

  Tira is a key member of our team at Gibson Fine Art. She oversees our gallery rental program, ensuring that each event, from weddings to corporate gatherings, is seamlessly executed. Tira also takes the lead in planning and coordinating gallery-hosted events, making sure every detail is handled with precision. She excels in helping clients find the perfect art pieces for their spaces, offering personalized suggestions and working from photos and design plans to ensure an ideal match. She also manages all digital communication, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience. With her sophisticated style and discerning eye, Tira is dedicated to making every client's experience exceptional.

  Hillary is an integral part of our gallery team, bringing her expertise as a trusted art consultant. She has a talent for truly understanding client needs by carefully listening to what they are looking for in their ideal art piece, considering factors like budget, wall space and size, design style of the home or office, and personal preferences. Hillary excels in creating personalized presentations and making thoughtful suggestions until the right piece is found—a piece the client loves! Her blend of business savvy and creative insight, combined with her attention to detail, makes her an invaluable resource for our clients.

  Carolina, our part-time team member at Gibson Fine Art, brings her expertise in art installation, photography, and event coordination to our gallery. With a graduate degree in Architecture and a passion for interior design, she has a keen eye for detail and an enviable flair. Hailing from Argentina, Carolina’s multicultural background adds a touch of sophistication to her work, ensuring that each project is executed with precision and elegance.

  Jamie is a valuable part-time member of our team at the gallery. Known as our "art-gallery superhero," he is responsible for packing and shipping art, organizing our art storage, moving heavy paintings, and assisting with installations. With a keen sense of order and a robust work ethic, Jamie ensures that each piece is handled with care and precision. His blend of strength and precision, coupled with a dash of humor, adds substantial value to our operations and keeps our team smiling.
