Jean's works simplify the landforms and florals she so favours. The end result is always a brightly coloured and richly textured piece. There is a great dynamism to Jean's paintings and Dianna Anderson, former Exhibits Co-coordinator at the Red Deer Museum has said, "Jean's work is not for the timid, it is too bold and monumental for that". Her works are widely held in corporate and private collections across Canada, England and Australia.
