Upcycled art is creating waves in the art world by taking the notion of simplicity and conservation to new levels. Susana Espinoza's interest in upcycling does not involve changing the original items into a new form entirely - for the piece Perserverancia she has diverted 700 metal pop cans from the bottle depot and turned them into art.
