GFA presents Polished Perceptions by Alberta based painter David Zimmerman. A long time resident of Bragg Creek, AB, Zimmerman's work reflects both the urban and rural experience with his use of colour and line, and mixed media in each piece.
With Zimmerman's work there is often an illusion created by painting layer upon layer that gives both the impression of depth and an inner glow. The finished pieces are translucent and reflective and will appear to change as the light shifts.
