Susana Espinoza: Colourplay

With dynamic shapes and the power of proportion providing interplay, Susanna's work focuses on duality of the warm and cool, the light and dark and how they relate and communicate with one another. The exploration of colour is vital to her work where she intricately pushes colour pigments suspended in a fluid medium to create a "floating colour" resulting in a gem-like transparency and reflectively. She also experiments with more textural work playing with the contrasts of opaque and transpatent and static versus elevated.
