Artist Statement
"I have titled my newest body of work "Cow City" which was built around the idea of contemporary versus traditional. If you're from Calgary you know that "Cow Town" is one of the numerous nicknames for the city (even according to Wikipedia!). This newest body of work reflects the prairie cities where we live, their relationship with the land surrounding them, and the animals which are a significant part of our 'Western' imagery."
