Barbara Amos is a Calgary based visual artist who has worked in variety of materials including paint, steel, video and photography. Her finished works are a dynamic interchange between what is recognizable and what is not, a metaphor for fragmentation, environmental issues and a rapidly changing world. Her subject matter is diverse. Historical, social and cultural connections are frequently explored in her projects.
